The Dantastics is a band for all occasions– a trio of seasoned professionals who are as comfortable blasting out high-energy rock, pop and soul, as they are smoothly presenting ballroom classics.
The seasoned group features Joe’s amazing keyboards and soulful vocals providing an orchestra of modern and traditional fare; Fletch’s guitar, bass and vocals highlighting the rhythms and riffs that are at music’s heart, and Dan’s innovative drums driving the energy forward, ensuring audiences will lay back and groove or get up and dance! The group’s collective library spans decades of crowd favorites; outstanding reading skills further allow them to cover practically any scenario. State-of-the-art MIDI tracks and sequencing optionally augment The Dantastics to deliver countless best-loved orchestrations. From the timeless introspection of Elton John, to the soothing soul of Barry White, from the island stylings of Bob Marley, to the traditional elegance of ballroom classics, The Dantastics will thrill all audiences!

DAN — DRUMS, PERCUSSION, LYRICIST, BANDLEADER
Dan is a renowned drummer and percussionist with diverse experience with live performances and studio sessions in the U.S. and abroad. After receiving a music scholarship to UCLA, he worked extensively as member of several groups and combos, as well as a solo freelance artist. He has performed in the Stage Band for Crystal Cruises, and has traveled and lived extensively internationally. He is an exceptional player and reader in all genres, from rock to Latin to jazz to hip hop, with great feel and improvisational abilities, and a unique and creative relationship with his instrument. “I approach the drums as an integral member — accentuating the groove and lushness of the music.” Dan’s professionalism and hospitality bring positive energy to his band’s performance, and any environment.

JOE — PIANO, KEYBOARDS, LEAD VOCALS
Joe started playing piano and laying down the groove at an early age, which has led to a rich and creative life. After graduating from Eastern New Mexico University in Theater and Music, Joe went on to perform as a side man for such artists as Tanya Tucker, Johnny Duncan, Daniel Lee Martin and most recently Justin Moore, whose country hit Small Town USA went all the way to number one! Joe has toured extensively and often plays Nashville, where he shares the stage with legendary performers Chas Sandford (I Ain’t Missin’ You At All), Holly Farris (trumpeter and James Brown’s band leader for many years), and Don Rollins, (It’s Five O’clock Somewhere). Joe brings tremendous enthusiasm to the stage, earning him the nickname Jumpin’ Joe, given to him by Gary Link of Steppenwolf. You’ll find his creative energy and passion flowing from every performance!

FLETCH
– GUITAR, BASS, HARMONICA, VOCALS, COMPOSER
Fletch is a multi-instrumentalist and the composer/lyricist of over 500 songs spanning two decades. His work has been hailed as, “Thoughtful yet riveting… immensely hummable…” and has received rave reviews by the press and audiences alike. His latest stage work is Redhead Cuban Hausfrau Husband, a musical for which he wrote the script, words and music. He also recorded all instruments of the production’s backing tracks and directed the play, which was called, “…Another fabulous night of theater…filled with a lot of wit and inspiration…” by local and online press. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, his theory skills are unmatched. Versatile and refined, Fletch’s talents are a true asset at the band’s core.
